第一首在billboard榜单上登顶的动画电影原声带。迪斯尼动画电影《阿拉丁》（Aladdin）的主题曲《新的世界》Alan Menken 配乐、作曲，Howard Ashman、Tim Rice作词，同时也是Howard Ashman的遗作，未完成的部分由音乐剧大师 Tim Rice 接手。
《A Whole New World》由Brad Kane和Lea Salonga担任男女对唱，由于曲调轻柔唯美，款款深情自然流露，已成为情歌对唱的经典，也获得第六十五届奥斯卡最佳音乐和最佳歌曲两项大奖，两名主唱在奥斯卡颁奖典礼上进行了这首歌曲的表演。
